Nothing is more motivating than having friends and family cheer you on as you make your way to the finish line. If you are planning on cheering on participants in the Atlanta Half Marathon, check out some great areas for spectating along the course.

Start / Finish Area
The start and finish of the Atlanta Half Marathon and Thanksgiving Day 5K is on Hank Aaron Drive just north of Turner Field. Join thousands of spectators as they line the sides of Hank Aaron Dr. to support their friends and family as they make their way under the Olympic Rings and to the finish line.
Head to Atlantic Station to catch a glimpse of your favorite half marathoner as they make their way up 17th Street to Mile 5.
Support Atlanta Half Marathon participants as they work their way through the halfway point of the race in Piedmont Park. Runners hit the 6-mile mark on 14th Street just outside of the park and head through Mile 7 on 10th Street after a run through the park.
Oakland Ave. / Oakland Cemetery
The last few miles are where participants need the most support. Spectators can cheer on runners and walkers as they run past Oakland Cemetery on Oakland Ave. on their way to Mile 11.
